We believe that values cannot be taught, they can only be caught. Education is not about what we do; it's about how we do it. In lieu of this, our interventions cater to both children and youth of our community.
Amaar Lab
This community-based rural lab provides an opportunity and safe platform to co-solve real-life issues relevant to children’s age through library activities and making with design thinking principles . This is done by ensuring better dialogues and co-designing solutions while practicing the constitutional values and skills necessary for purposeful and responsible citizens. And the process is based on the three pillar approach: 1. Understanding of self, 2. Understanding of their culture 3. Understanding of their Community and India. This will be the first ever Lab in our district which will provide access to research, books and other exposure opportunities to children. At Amaar Lab, we focus on: “ପଢ଼ମା ଗଢ଼ମା ବଢ଼ମା-Padhma, Gadhma, Badhma (Thriving through Library and Making)”. We have over 600 books that give exposure and open a world of imagination for our children. The library offers not just the books but also rich conversations, stories and integrated activities.
Youth Leadership Development Program
Building Fraternity, Dialogue, and Co-Creation
The Youth Leadership Program fosters prosperous, inclusive, peaceful, and just communities by empowering young people to engage in meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and co-creation. It brings diverse ideas of India together, encouraging participants to bridge divides, embrace diversity, and create shared visions of fraternity.
Through transformative experiences, young leaders deconstruct their stories, develop emotional literacy, and practice empathy for deep dialoguing. They co-create artistic expressions reflecting constitutional values, amplifying these narratives to inspire peers and communities across the nation.
Key Objectives:
- Deconstruct Narratives: Initiate mindset change by reexamining personal and shared stories.
- Emotional Literacy: Cultivate empathy and emotional intelligence for constructive dialogue.
- Co-Creation: Collaborate on a shared vision of India expressed through impactful art-based products.
Impact:
- Development of hundreds of Champions of Fraternity, leading dialogues and fostering national unity.
- Inspiring society with diverse and enriching artistic expressions that uphold the spirit of fraternity.
